You will love it! Like a smaller version of Cracker Barrel with its country decor and gift shop. The service was amazingly fast and our waitress was at our side the moment we finished a drink. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. December has special meals for under $5 prices. The January specials are liver and onions for 2.95, beef and noodles for 3.95, country fried steak for 4.95 and sautéed chicken for 5.95. My family had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and gravy, meatloaf, stuffing, and a choice of green beans or corn. They also served fresh bread and butter. My son had the Pot Roast and my other son had the Applewood smoked ham meal for only 1.95. That's unbelievable! We will be back for January's special!

Driving through from out of town and arrived at 8:48. The cashier told us the cook had already closed the kitchen and they would be locking the door at five til nine. If you aren't open until 9 then the operating hours on the door should reflect the time you close the kitchen and turn away customers. We stop here on the way to & from Ohio every trip because it has been a family tradition since my husband was a little boy. We wanted to continue the tradition with our own son. The lack of hospitality has encouraged us to find a new tradition.

An amazing dessert, the Apple Fritter Sundae, was shared with my Mom. Took us back to the 1970's when our family would eat at Dutch Pantry. A step back in time for great food! Don't miss the Sweet and Sour dressing on their dinner salad!

Best home cooking in the valley. Liver and onions is recommended. Also the shoe fly pie

The food is great, the price is great and the service is great! The only bad thing is it's tood dang cold in there! You can't even get your food eaten before it's cold! It's 30 degrees outside with a air temp of 21 due to wind chill! I don't think you need the air conditioning on. I know the servers and cooks probably get hot moving around buy surely there's a happy medium for the customers! I've been coming here for the whole 45 years that the restaurant has been here and I truly love it!
